Officials briefed the meeting on PWMIS functionalities, highlighting that the system will optimize fund utilization, ensure strict compliance with approved PC-1s, and minimize human intervention to curb corruption. Dedicated dashboards will be set up at the Chief Minister’s Office, provincial departments, and the Accountant General’s Office for better oversight of development projects.
The chief minister lauded the initiative, calling it a significant step toward the province’s digital transformation and improved governance. The government also plans to expand PWMIS to other work-related departments in the near future. |
