CDA-DHA joint housing project kicks off with plot balloting in ISB

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad held balloting for residential plots in Margalla Enclave, a joint housing venture, according to a news source on February 24. Read: CDA engages corporate cector for Spring Tree Plantation Drive 2025 As per the details, the event took place at Jacaranda Family Club, DHA Phase-2, attended by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Acting DHA Administrator Brig (retd) Ghulam Murtaza, and a large number of applicants. Approximately 47,000 applications were received for 125, 250, and 500 square-yard plots. CDA Chairman Randhawa stated that this project marks the beginning of CDA-DHA collaboration to address housing shortages, assuring possession within a year. The Project Director confirmed that around 1,000 displaced residents from Rehara and Kurri villages would be compensated and relocated.
