Of 33 federal ministries’ websites, none fully complies with right to information act

Majority of the federal ministries and their divisions have failed to fully comply with the categoric requirements for proactive disclosure of public information on their websites, as embodied in the Right of Access to Information Act (RTI), 2017, says a report launched recently by the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN). This gap enables the proliferation of misinformation and leads to disinformation and mis-communication, the report further says.
