Punjab ENTD urges property owners to pay tax, avail rebate

Islamabad: The Excise and Taxation Department has reminded property taxpayers to take advantage of the Punjab government’s 5% rebate on property tax payments before the September 30 deadline. The information comes from an article published on September 23. Both businesses and homeowners are encouraged to settle their taxes within the rebate period. The department has already seen a significant response to the offer, and a public awareness campaign is in progress, using banners across the city and social media. The current fiscal year’s property tax target is PKR 1.22 billion, with efforts focused on achieving 60% of this target (Rs. 750 million) by the end of September.
