Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA), under the leadership of Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has launched its state-of-the-art technology and digitalisation Wing, as reported on September 23. Speaking at the launch event, Chairman Randhawa emphasised the importance of integrating modern technology and corporate practices to revolutionize public service delivery. He noted that these advancements are critical to improving the performance and transparency of the CDA’s operations. The newly operational Technology and Digitalisation Wing is outfitted with cutting-edge hardware and software, designed to enhance efficiency and promote a culture of openness. The introduction of a corporate-style work environment, featuring open desks and an open-door policy, is expected to foster collaboration and increase transparency across the board. A key highlight of this initiative is the implementation of an advanced e-filing system, transitioning the CDA from a traditional paper-based filing system to a fully digital, paperless environment. This move is expected to significantly reduce the reliance on physical documents, cutting down operational costs while improving accessibility and document management.
