Lahore: The Punjab government has set the draw date for the Green Tractor Scheme 2024, with winners to be announced on October 20, as reported on September 18.

As per details, earlier this year, following the February 8 elections, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz approved the “CM Punjab Green Tractor Scheme” to support farmers across the province. This decision was made during a meeting with PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, where the Kissan Package was also discussed.
In a recent update, Chief Minister Nawaz has given the green light for the distribution of 9,500 tractors under the scheme. Each tractor will come with a PKR 1 million subsidy for landowners with up to 50 acres.
The scheme is set to launch on September 20. The Chief Minister has also expressed a goal of eventually providing 30,000 tractors to farmers in Punjab.

Additionally, the Chief Minister approved the Children’s Heart Surgery Program, which aims to expedite 12,000 pending heart surgeries and will involve international surgeons to assist. |
