FBR, Karandaaz Pakistan team up for tax system digitalisation

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has joined forces with Karandaaz Pakistan to initiate digitalisation efforts within the tax system, aligning with ongoing reforms in tax administration, according to a news source on March 16. Read: FBR told to fold special tax for construction: IMF Following a meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and officials from the FBR and Karandaaz, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed, emphasising the need for business facilitation and people-centric approaches in crafting digital solutions. Minister Aurangzeb stressed the importance of utilising top-tier human capital for effective assessment and design, proposing the involvement of experienced international consultants with expertise in implementing tax digitalisation solutions.
