Islamabad:The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to allot a plot measuring 10 acres for the Danish Schools System in Zone IV of the federal capital.
A special meeting of the CDA board which was chaired by Chairman Captain (r) Anwarul Haq approved a summary received from the Ministry of Federal Educational. CDA Member Planning and Design presented the case in the special board meeting which was approved. The children of rural areas of Islamabad will be admitted in the Danish School once it starts functioning on completion.
Meanwhile, the engineering wing of CDA is currently carrying out construction of new footpaths in sector I-8 of Islamabad. The maintenance work being done through contractors will cost Rs14 million. The initiation of Danish Schools System was taken by then Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for provision of quality education to children under developed and remote areas. |
