Rawalpindi: The Business Facilitation Centre (BFC), located at Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), hosted a gathering of key officials to thoroughly assess the services provided to entrepreneurs, as reported by a news source on January 30.

During the evaluation, Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hasan Waqar emphasised that the BFC offers all necessary facilities conveniently housed in one location. Stressing the importance of the BFC, DC Waqar highlighted its role in promoting economic activities in the region.
He explained that individuals looking to start businesses in Rawalpindi would no longer have to visit multiple offices for No Objection Certificates (NOCs). Waqar mentioned that the BFC has already received 72 applications and to streamline the process, dedicated desks from various departments have been set up to assist businessmen.

Furthermore, Waqar announced that approvals for commercial and industrial constructions would be expedited within 30 days. Similarly, applications for completion certificates would also be processed within the same timeframe, while requests for changes in land use would be addressed within 45 days. |
