RWP Commissioner announces no direct access to RRR for housing societies

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha affirmed that no housing societies will have direct access to the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) as it will be restricted to only five interchanges, as per the news sources on January 9. Read: RRR project: 12% work complete, opening expected in August The commissioner inspected the ongoing work during a visit to the camp office at Khalsa Khurd for the Ring Road Project. During the visit, Commissioner Chatha received a briefing on the project’s advancement and surveyed the work by touring the by-road from Khalsa Khudarad to Thalian Interchange. Briefings from NESPAK and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) officials highlighted that 15% of the construction work has been completed, assuring the commissioner that the project would meet its deadline.
