CDA to automate property records from last 9 yrs to avoid fraud cases

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to proceed with the long-anticipated automation of residential and commercial property records in the federal capital, as disclosed in a news article on January 4. The meeting witnessed the presence of officials from the Finance, Planning, and Interior Ministries. The automation project’s contract is set to be awarded to a government firm on a government-to-government basis. The chosen firm is expected to computerise the records of 45 million papers within a two-year timeframe.
