Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi has granted approval for an extensive road rehabilitation and expansion initiative, covering a total of 2600-kilometers across the province, as claimed by a news source on December 21. During the meeting, C&W Secretary Suhail Anwar provided an update on the progress of ongoing road construction and improvement efforts. The briefing revealed that 104 road projects were actively underway, with an anticipated completion within the next year. The meeting disclosed that an estimated cost of PKR 150 billion would be allocated for the construction, expansion, and improvement of 104 roads across the province.
