CM inaugurates Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan signal-free corridor in LHR

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan signal-free corridor, covering a distance of over six kilometres from Canal Road to College Road Amir Chowk, according to the news source published on December 6. During the inauguration ceremony, CM Naqvi offered prayers, marking the official unveiling of the upgraded corridor. Chief Engineer Israr Saeed provided detailed insights into the project, emphasizing that Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan is transformed into a signal-free corridor through the construction of seven strategically placed U-turns. Recognized as one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city, traffic congestion had long been a concern on this road. He highlighted that the corridor’s completion occurred within a remarkably short timeframe. Expressing his commendation, CM Naqvi lauded the LDA team for their efficiency in completing the project ahead of schedule.
