Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has successfully completed the construction of the Shahdara Flyover project four months earlier than the initially projected timeline, as per the reported source on November 18.

According to the details, the LDA’s efficiency and unwavering commitment enabled the project’s swift conclusion in just six months which was originally slated for completion in 10 months, marking a significant achievement for the city.
The newly inaugurated flyover, spanning 850 meters with three lanes, is open to traffic, linking seamlessly to GT Road, N-5, and promising improved connectivity for commuters. Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi, presiding over the inauguration, reassured Shahdara residents that the beautification of the surrounding area would commence in the coming days.

Acknowledging the pivotal role played by the CM and LDA Director General (DG) Chief Engineer Asrar Saeed expressed gratitude for their leadership, which expedited the project’s completion. The flyover aims to alleviate traffic congestion on the city’s primary entry and exit routes. |
