Directives issued to start operation against encroachments on CDA-owned properties

Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has issued directives to initiate a comprehensive operation against illegal land occupation and encroachments on Capital Development Authority (CDA) properties, including Margalla National Park, according to news published on November 6. To address the growing traffic congestion in Islamabad, PM Kakar recommended immediate action to resolve parking and traffic issues caused by car showrooms scattered throughout the city. The meeting highlighted that 160 additional buses are expected to augment Islamabad’s public transport system, further enhancing the city’s transportation network. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for a centralized digital system for vehicle registration in Islamabad and other cities across the country.
