| One of the most important yet controversial projects of Rawalpindi formally started, Rawalpindi Ring Road construction has officially started after the groundbreaking by Commissioner Rawalpindi. Finally, the project has been initiated as it has been for quite a few times in the past. It is yet to be seen, whether the Rawalpindi Ring Road Construction will move on or it gets suspended once again.
The official groundbreaking ceremony was held on 22 September 2023, when Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaqat Ali Chatta visited different points of the site and reviewed the work plan and development strategy. He also advised the developers to carry out development steadily and finish the project within the proposed timeline. |
