Karachi: Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, who also oversees the transport and mass transit portfolio, announced a new route of electric bus service connecting Malir Cantonment to Numaish via Gulistan-e-Jauhar; according to a published article on August 1.

As per the minister, this new development decision is geared towards enhancing the convenience of travel for the general public. The new electric bus route spans a distance of 18 kilometres, commencing from Malir Cantt Gate No 5 and concluding at the Numaish traffic intersection. In the wake of this development, it was mentioned that the route would pass through prominent areas like Gulistan-i-Jauhar and Millennium Mall.

The commencement of this new electric bus service was officially inaugurated on Monday, marking a milestone in the province’s efforts to tackle transportation challenges faced by its citizens.
