Mansehra: The federal government has allocated funds for seven development projects in Mansehra, according to news published on June 14.

A Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Muhammad Sajjad Awan announced that the government has funds approved for projects in Mansehra, which were inaugurated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit last year.
The following are the details of funds approved for projects in Mansehra:
PKR 1.6 billion has been allocated for the establishment of a Basic Aerodrome facility and land acquisition for the construction of an airport in Mansehra.
PKR 4.72 billion was set aside for the construction of the 27-kilometre-long Mansehra-Muzaffarabad Motorway which will be completed with foreign funding. He expressed optimism that this motorway will bring prosperity and development to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
PKR 0.5 billion has been approved for the construction of the Tanawal interchange on the Hazara Motorway in Potha village.
PKR 0.56 billion for the construction of a tunnel connecting the Khaki area of Mansehra with Oghi town, aimed at improving connectivity and transportation in the region.

PKR 1.7 billion have been approved for enhancing academic and infrastructural facilities at Hazara University.
PKR 0.4 billion has been allocated for the Mansehra Water Supply Scheme
PKR 7.69 billion has been approved for interlinking the 765 KV grid station with the 220 KV grid station in the Mansehra district.
These projects signify significant investments by the government to foster progress and development in the Mansehra district and its surrounding areas. |
