ICCI to have representation in CDA Board meetings

Islamabad: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) will have representation in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board meetings, according to news published on May 4. Read: Resolution of G-9 Markaz’s issues top priority: President ICCI This was decided in a meeting held between CDA Chairman Noor Ul Amin Mengal and ICCI President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, who shared the key issues faced by the business community of the federal capital. To address the ICCI concerns raised in the meeting, the chairman agreed to provide representation to ICCI in the CDA board meeting and allocate plots for the construction of a school, hospital, sports ground, and an expo centre. The meeting members were also informed that the civic agency will provide commercial plots to the business community on a lease for 33, 50, and 99 years to strengthen business operations.
