Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is considering a proposal to construct a 5-kilometre long road from a popular restaurant to Bari Imam in Margalla Hills, a news source reported on May 5.

As per the details, the CDA Planning and Engineering Wings will review the proposal before submitting it to the higher authorities. Once it is approved, the Engineering Wing will prepare PC-1 for the new road and forward it to CDA Development Working Party (DWP) for approval.

According to a CDA official, the proposal will utilise an off-track road between the restaurant and Bari Imam in order to manage the traffic congestion. The official mentioned that authorities will thoroughly review the proposal before taking the final decision. |
