Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has introduced a helpline, 1237, to facilitate citizens to gain information about the processes via phone calls, according to news published on April 02.

The said helpline was inaugurated by FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary. While addressing the inaugural ceremony, Chaudhary said that several reforms are in the works to improve the quality of FDA services and the telephone facility is part of these efforts.
The helpline will assist citizens in getting the required information relating to the Town Planning and Estate Management departments; including the issuance of the no objection certificates (NOCs), town planning reports, completion certificates, ownership certificates, residential and commercial building plan approval, legal status of housing schemes and their approval process, transfer of properties, issues of katchi abadis and other services of the authority.

Chaudhry stated that this system will be expanded in the future, based on the public response. He explained that this information system is initiated to control the agent mafia and provide authentic information to citizens. |
