Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a warning of lease cancellation to the owners of all unauthorised car showrooms operating in commercial areas of Islamabad, according to news published on April 4.

As per reports, CDA Chairman Noor ul Amin Mengal shared a warning notice on Twitter, stating that several illegal car showrooms have been identified in various sectors of the capital, which are in violation of non-conforming rules and lease agreements.
The involved car showroom owners are asked to vacate the premises by April 20 to avoid legal penalties including; heavy fines, lease agreement cancellations, and sealing of premises.

The CDA’s warning notice stated that these non-conforming businesses are violating the law and leading to traffic congestion that impends smooth commutes in the capital city. |
