Recently, a meeting was held under the chair of PDMA Coordination Director Tauqeer Mehmood Wattoo where the ‘Sans App’ was unveiled. It was highlighted that the mobile application was developed in response to Lahore High Court’s orders.
The mobile application was tested after PDMA developed a dashboard and now the staff training on the app’s usage is underway. The relevant agencies have been given passwords to access the app. It was announced that complaints received via the app will be immediately reported to the appropriate authorities and immediate action will be taken to resolve them. The app will also keep the citizens updated on the status of their complaints.

It was reported that 65 teams of officials will be initially formed with representation from all related agencies to deal with pollution-related complaints. The teams will address issues like pollution created by cars, brick kilns, companies, building debris, burning of agriculture residue and undisposed garbage. |
