| A two-week long cleanliness drive is in full swing to keep the city neat and clean, in which rubbish and garbage are being removed from different parts of the garrison city. The drive is the initiative of the Rawalpindi Waste Management (RWMC).
A large number of Waste containers are being used during the campaign while mechanical sweeping of roads, metro bus stations, and washing were also ensured. RWMCChief Executive Officer Rana-Sajidsaid that the sanitation staff of RWMC had removed thousands of tonnes of garbage and rubbish from Rawalpindi city. |
