Chinese firm to build fish processing facility in Gwadar Free Zone

Gwadar: The China-based Haixintian Pelagic Fishery Overseas Base Company has started constructing a fish processing factory in Gwadar Free Zone South, news sources reported on March 2. Read: Test flight from new Gwadar Int’l Airport begins in March The facility is the first fishing-related factory in Gwadar and is being constructed following approval from the Gwadar Free Zone Authority (GFZA). The company has imported its industrial units from China and has secured a warehouse of 5,911 square meters for the construction of cold storage and other necessary facilities. As per the design of the facility, the warehouse includes 2,000 square meters of standard workshop space, which will be designed according to the sublessor’s specifications.
