Islamabad: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police have decided to launch a grand operation against land grabbers and encroachment issues in the city, the news sources reported on February 27.

The operation will be executed in various parts of the city against land grabbers and criminals. The police administration has asked the citizens to report any suspicious activity and land-grabbing incidents in the nearest police station for prompt action against criminal elements. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) (Operations) Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari in a statement said land grabbing would not be tolerated and indiscriminate action would continue against those who illegally occupied others’ land.

It is important to note that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) launched a grand operation against land grabbers to recover land worth billions of rupees. To deal with serious land-related issues, the government has already launched an online mobile application. |
