Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has established a special facilitation counter for senior citizens and non-resident Pakistanis, news sources reported on February 21.

The news was shared by CDA Chairman Noor Ul Amin Mengal on his Twitter account. Chairman Mengal said that the focus of the new facilitation centre in CDA headquarters is to help resolve the problems of the elderly and Pakistani diaspora on a priority basis. The counter will provide services related to property management, issuance of land regulation certificates, applications related to land development, building plans, and other related matters. The CDA chief asked citizens to get benefits from the facility and provide feedback for quality and service improvement.

It is important to note that CDA has also signed agreements with National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for real-time land record management and information. Under the agreement, NADRA will provide an accurate list and succession tree information about the land owner to resolve land-related disputes. |
