Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has announced the launch of a housing scheme for the members of the Kashmir Journalist Forum (KJF) in the coming 45 days, according to news sources.

As per the details shared, the land will be allocated in Kotli for the housing scheme in the first phase and the plots will be allocated to the KJF members. During the second phase of the project, land allocation plans for Islamabad and Muzaffarabad will be outlined. A government official revealed that the groundbreaking for the project will be organised soon.

AJK Prime Minister Khan said that the housing project for KJF is part of the government’s efforts to improve the living standards of people through the provision of basic amenities. Additionally, he stressed the need for the promotion of small industries in the state for the creation of employment opportunities and highlighted that local goods from AJK are highly popular. |
