Islamabad: The Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation (PTDC) will be showcasing Pakistan’s tourism potential at the two-day ‘Travel & Adventure Show’ happening in New York on January 28 & 29, according to a news published in the leading newspaper on January 24. The two-day event is organised at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center (Hall 3D/3E) on 445 11th Avenue, New York.

As per the details, the PTDC in collaboration with other regional and provincial partners will highlight the rich tourism potential of the country. It was revealed that 20 private tour operators and hospitality companies, and six provincial and regional tourism departments will participate in the show. The provincial departments participating in the show include the Tourism Development Cooperation of Punjab (TDCP), Culture and Tourism Department Gilgit-Baltistan (CTDGB), Tourism Department of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cultural and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), and Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC).

Moreover, the Pakistani delegation will also take part in other side-line meetings for promoting Pakistan as a tourist destination. The Travel & Adventure Show provides an exciting opportunity to highlight the potential tourism industry and interact with the leading international and domestic cruise lines, tour operators, travel destinations, and travel providers. It will help increase the flow of foreign tourists in the country, which will contribute to socio-economic development. |
