CDA urged to resolve business community concerns

Islamabad: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has urged the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to resolve problems being faced by the business community to further enhance trade, new sources reported on January 23. Read: CDA’s 3-day open auction starts tomorrow In a meeting with the CDA officials, ICCI President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari said that there is a need for the reformation of all commercial centres including concerns related to facilities in industrial areas of Sectors I-9 and I-8. He urged the authorities to resolve water, sewage and lights-related issues and remove encroachments in the commercial centres. On the occasion, the CDA officials said that the authority is conducting balloting of commercial and residential plots in the city starting from Tuesday (Today). He said that the government has taken special measures to ensure greater facilities for those who participate and bid for plots in auctions.
