Approval granted for construction of Multan-Vehari dual road

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi granted approval for the construction of the Multan-Vehari dual road project, a news source reported on January 16. During the meeting, the CM apprised that in the first phase, a 39-kilometre-long dual road will be constructed from Multan to Tibba Sultanpur. It will be built under a public-private partnership and is expected to be completed within a year. In the second phase, a 47-kilometre-long road, from Tibba Sultanpur to Vehari, will be constructed. The Communication & Works (C&W) department will construct the dual road from Tibba Sultanpur to Vehari. The news source revealed that in the first phase, Faisalabad to Chiniot dual road project dual will be constructed. In the second phase, the road from Chiniot to Sargodha will be completed.
