Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has laid the foundation stones of two mega projects focused on solving traffic congestion in the city of Lahore, an advertisement in leading newspapers read.

The projects include the rehabilitation and improvement of the Saggian Road Road project and the Shahdra Multilevel Flyover project. As per the news report, the Saggian Road rehabilitation project would cost PKR 4.51 billion and would save annual fuel costs of PKR 500 million. Similarly, the Shahdra Multilevel Flyover would cost PKR 8.9 billion and be completed in 10 months.
