LDA to build 3 megaprojects in the provincial capital
Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday (October 11) submitted three megaprojects for approval to the Planning and Development (P&D) Department, news sources reported. According to sources, proposed new projects include repairing and rehabilitating Sagian Road, restoring the Babu Sabu Interchange dual highways, and constructing Shahdara Turbo Roundabout. Read: Four mega projects approved for Lahore Following clearance from the P&D department, the LDA will propose the megaprojects for final approval to the LDA Governing Body, which is led by Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar. Reportedly, LDA has demanded PKR 247.3 million for the construction of roads adjacent to Babu Sabu Interchange, PKR 753.3 million for the repair and rehabilitation of Sagian Road and PKR 5.5 billion for the construction and redesign of Shahdara Turbo Roundabout.
